    摘要:

    弥散包覆颗粒燃料是事故容错燃料(ATF)的重要技术方向之一。利用基体材料优异的导热性能、高温稳定性、抗氧化性等特点,显著提升了燃料芯块的热导率和裂变产物包容能力,从而大幅提高燃料元件及反应堆的本质安全性。本文采用放电等离子烧结(SPS)工艺制备了ZrC-SiC复合基体弥散包覆颗粒燃料模拟芯块样品,研究了不同TRISO颗粒体积含量对烧结芯块样品微观形貌和烧结致密化过程的影响,并对芯块中TRISO颗粒分布情况进行了检测表征。结果表明:在1900℃/30MPa/10min烧结条件下,可以获得TRISO颗粒体积含量最高达到40%、颗粒分布均匀、微观结构完整、基体致密性较好的弥散包覆颗粒燃料芯块样品。当TRISO颗粒体积含量不高于40%时,颗粒体积含量对芯块样品的烧结致密化过程基本没有影响。

    Abstract:

    Dispersion coated particle fuel is one of the potential technical development options for accident tolerant fuels (ATF). By adopting the excellent performances of matrix material, including high thermal conductivity, good stability at high temperature, and outstanding oxidation resistance, this kind of fuel can significantly improve the thermal performances and fission product containment capacity, thereby greatly enhancing the intrinsic safety of fuel elements and reactors. In the present study, ZrC-SiC composite matrix dispersion coated particle fuel surrogate pellets were prepared using spark plasma sintering (SPS) process. The effects of different TRISO packing fraction on the microstructure and sintering densification process of surrogate pellets were investigated, and the distribution of TRISO particles were characterized. The results showed that, under sintering conditions of 1900℃/30MPa/10min, dispersion coated particle fuel pellet samples with TRISO packing fraction up to 40%, uniform particle distribution, integral microstructure and good matrix densification could be obtained. The TRISO packing fraction has little effect on the sintering densification process of fuel pellet samples.
