Abstract:
The effect of the rolling technique of Ti/Al clad sheet on the bonding strength of it after rolling and the morphology of the peeled surface is investigated The results show that the deformation extent of Ti is a dominant factor for bonding strength and morphology of the peeled surface. Aluminium temperature in rolling process also has an important impact on bonding. It is found that three bonding mechanisms coexist during the process.
