Abstract:
The regenerated hard metal made from W-Co composite recycled by Co-precipitation has the advantages of fine WC grain sire, high coercive force and high hardness. However, more WC grain defects, higher WC grain contiguity Cwc-we and discontinuously grown WC grains can reduce its strength and toughness. The more exactly controling carbon content of regenerated hard metal than that of normal WC-Co alloy isnecessary to make two-phase WC+y alloy with W-Co composite recycled by Co-precipitation.
