Abstract:
The synthesis and characterization of 1,1-diethyl-3-butenyl cyclopentadienyl lanthanide dichlorides are reported. The complexes [C5H4C(C2H5)2CH2CH=CH2]LnCl2. MgCl2. THF (Ln=La(1), Nd(2), Sm(3), Gd(4)) are characterized by elementary analyses, mass spectrography infrared spectrography and nuclear magnetic resonance.
