Abstract:The solubility of hydrogen in Ti-60 alloy and the effect of hydrogen on the microstructure, (α+β)/β transformation and the mechanical properties of Ti-60 alloy at high temperature have been investigated. The results show that the solution heat of hydrogen in Ti-60 titanium alloy △H is found to be –41.9 kJ/mol. And the volume fraction of primary α and the (α+β)/β transformation temperature is continuously decreased with increasing the hydrogen contents. The results also indicate that the yield strength at high temperature is also continuously decreased with hydrogen concentration, and the minimum yield strength occurs at a concentration corresponding to the (α+β)/β transition
