Abstract:
ZrO2 dispersion-strengthened Pt-3Rh alloy was prepared by powder metallurgy-internal oxidation-sintering. The high temperature properties were tested and analyzed. After Pt-3Rh are dispersion strengthened, its coefficient of expansion is bigger than that of Pt-3Rh below 800 °C and smaller than that of Pt-3Rh above 800 °C. The thermal tensile strength and elongation are increased. The stability of crystal structure is strengthened. The service life of strengthened Pt-3Rh drawing bushings is equal to that of Pt-10Rh.
