    Abstract:

    The effect of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) and Sodium Hyaluronat (HA) on the corrosion behavior of TZNT alloy, as a type of potential artificial joint materials, has been investigated in PBS solution (pH=7.4) through electrochemical tests. The results show that the growth of the surface oxide film on TZNT alloy in PBS can be inhibited by the addition of IgG to some extent. HA is effective to decrease the corrosion rate of TZNT alloy, and it is influenced by the concentration and immersion period, and the best inhibitive effect can be obtained when the samples is exposed in test solution including 2.5 g/L HA after 72 h immersion.
