    Abstract:

Surface nanocrystallization treatment can change the surface structure of the material and improve the surface properties of the material. Titanium alloy has excellent comprehensive resistance and has a wide range of applications. Surface nanocrystallization technology can be used to prepare a certain thickness of nanolayer on the surface of the titanium alloy, which can further enhance the corrosion resistance of titanium alloys. This article introduces the surface nanotechnology and the mechanism of surface nanocrystallization of titanium alloy, and reviews the current research progress on the effect of surface nanocrystallization on the electrochemical corrosion of titanium alloy at home and abroad. The effects of the surface state, composition, residual stress and microstructure of the titanium alloy on the corrosion resistance of the nanolayer after surface nanocrystallization are mainly explained. And the future research direction of surface nanocrystallization of titanium alloy is explored.
