    Abstract:

Gleeble-1500 thermodynamic simulation machine was used to perform thermal compression deformation of pure titanium before and after the phase change point, and the influence of thermal compression on the phase transition was studied. It is found that when the stress is applied near the phase change point, the phase transition first occurs between the slats, and the newly formed β grains are mostly spherical or short rod-shaped. As the amount of compression increases, adjacent β nuclei gradually connect and become strip-like tissues. There is a critical value for phase transition, when the compression temperature is 860 °C, 890 °C and 920 °C, respectively, when the compression amount reaches 40%, 30% and 20%, the phase transition tends to saturate, replaced by a large number of dynamic recrystallization. The higher the temperature, the more obvious the phenomenon of deformation promoting phase change, when the compression temperature is after the phase change point, a small amount of compression can make a large number of phase transitions occur.
