    Abstract:

Due to the large proportion of the inclusions, it’s hard to remove the inclusions such as hafnium oxide in the cast superalloy containing hafnium. In this experiment, DZ125 superalloy revert were melted by high energy electron beam to remove refractory inclusion, and the composition, microstructure and distribution of slag collected from different positions after electron beam melting were analyzed. The results show that HfO2 and Al2O3 in the superalloy revert floats to the surface of the ingot under the action of high-energy electron beam, the refractory oxide inclusion in the revert can be effectively removed.
