Abstract:It is described that progress on magnetic functional materials and applications. They include high magnetic moment materials of Fe-N system, spin-valve giant magnetoresistive materials, new rare-earth permanent magnetic materials of Sm2Fe(17)Xy system, new design of magnetic levitation train, applications of high gradient magnetic separation technique and applications of microwave YIG ferrite.
