The formation principal and its physical meanings of the EBSP(Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction Pattern)have been introduced in the present paper.Some application examples on the determination of crystal orientation,micro-texture,crystallographic orientation relationship,stress distribution,lattice parameters,phase identification and boundary nature study with EBSD have been given.
