    Abstract:

Hot deformation behavior and constitutive model play fundamental roles in processing and simulation of materials. The analysis of the hot deformation behavior of titanium alloy TB6 shows that the strain rate influences the flow stress significantly and the effect of deformation temperature on flow stress is correlated with the strain rate. In this paper, the constitutive model was established based Arrhenius-type hyperbolic sine equation. The investigation on the influence of deformation condition on flow stress was carried out. The results show that the flow stress and force can be controlled by changing the strain rate and activation energy. This study provides a guideline for the control and simulation of plastic deformation of titanium alloy TB6.
