    Abstract:

    Solid oxide cells (SOC) that function reversibly in fuel cell (SOFC) and electrolytic (SOEC) modes offer the possibility of conversion and storage of energy through congruent production of electricity, hydrogen and syn-gas. Interconnect coating technologies for the solid oxide cells are particularly important. In this paper, the working environments of SOC at different operating modes were analyzed, and the available alloy materials, coating materials and coating techniques for SOC stack were reviewed.
