Abstract:As high-end equipment parts, titanium and titanium alloys was optimizing structural materials with excellent performance. But titanium alloy is a difficult deformation alloy, its forming is difficult, and forming technology is the main technology bottleneck of product processing. Northwest institute for nonferrous metal research developed different forming technologies for plates, rods and pipes for different product applications after years of research. It meets the urgent need of several key national defense projects for deep processing of titanium alloy products, and also promotes the technological progress in the field of titanium alloy forming technique.This paper briefly introduces the typical forming technique and some special parts of titanium alloy.
