Abstract:All kinds of technologies for recovering titanium from Pangang blast furnace (BF) slag are comprehensively reviewed. A comparative analysis is made from aspect of technological, economic, environmental protection and marketing. It is pointed out that titanium carbide and titanium carbonitride are the matters most adaptive to separate titanium from Pangang BF slag. At the same time of recovering titanium, much attention is given to comprehensive utilization of secondary waste residues.
