The effect of different heat treatment between rolling passes of TA34 titanium tubes on the microstructure, mechanical properties and yield were studied. The results indicated that the microstructure of the tubes treated by ordinary annealing+isothermal graded annelaing(T1) is equiaxed α, and the average grain size is about 12 μm;while treated by ordinary annealing+isothermal grades annealing+ordinary annealing(T2) is equiaxed α accompanied with a small amount of deformed lamellar mincrostructure, which grain size varies from 12 to 18 μm. The tensile strength of the tubes obtained by the two different heat treatment increase with the decrease of the temperature, and the tensile strength increas sharply from the 293K to 77K, with an increase rate of 73.6%/66.9%, and the tensile strength increase slowly from the 77K to 20K, with an increase rate of 16.21%/12.7% respectively; the mechanical strength of the two heat treatment are comparable at 293K、77K、20K;the plasticity of the T1heat treatment is better than the T2, and barely drops when the test temperature decrease, the plasticity of the T2 heat treatment sharply drops at 20K, with the decrease rate of 32%; the size of the tubes are measured and counted, the yield of the T1 heat treatment is 39.5%, and the T2 is 44.9%, which is 5.4% higher than that of the T1 heat treatment.
