Abstract:TB6 titanium alloy has excellent comprehensive properties, and is widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, weapons and other fields. The effect of solution temperature on the microstructure of TB6 titanium alloy was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical microscopy (OM) . When the solution temperature is 760 ° C and 780 ° C, the primary α phase with a certain grain size and volume fraction can be obtained, which acts as pinning on the β grain boundary, and β matrix phase with grain size less than 5 μm can be obtained, the primary α phase disappeared almost or completely, and the grain size of β matrix phase was over 100μm. The suggested solution treatment temperature is above 20 ° C below the β transition point.
